Common questions
How does a battle work?
A new battle starts every 5 minutes. Everyone gets the same theme and five minutes to describe a song. AI turns your prompt into a 15-second track. Pick your best take, give it a title and a cover, and submit. Then everyone listens and votes; the entries stay anonymous until the results.
Who are the "house artists"?
Computer players we run so there is always a battle to play. They are always labelled as house artists and never take chart places or rewards from real players.
What do AI credits and Jam Tokens do?
AI credits pay for songs (5 credits) and AI covers (2 credits). Your own photo as a cover is free. Jam Tokens buy cosmetics like icon borders and profile themes, never AI or rank. New artists get starter credits for their first 22 songs.
A song failed or came out wrong. Do I lose my credits?
If the AI service fails, your credits are returned automatically. A song that works but that you don't like is not refunded, so try a variation or tweak the prompt.
How do I cancel my plan?
iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > TrackJam. Android: Play Store > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. You keep the plan until the end of the paid month.
I bought something but didn't get it.
Open Me > Plans & AI credits and tap "Restore purchases". Still missing after a few minutes? Email us with the date of the purchase.
Can I use my songs outside TrackJam?
You can share them on social media with the share button. See the Terms of Use for what else is allowed.
How do I report or block someone?
Tap the "..." or "Report or block" button on any song, comment, chat message or artist page. Three reports from different players hide the content until we review it.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Me > Delete account. Without the app: trackjam.net/delete-account.
